I have 3-Arlo Security Lights that used to work great, and when motion was detected they would trigger a recording to the cameras, which I have 3-Arlo Ultras and 1-Arlo Pro. However, ever since this new app the Security Lights have stopped triggering recordings. I have removed the lights and the bridge from the Hub, re-added, deleted the old rules, re-added, and re-started the Hub multiple times and it still will not work. The issue has to be this fairly new app, which has broke sooo many other things, like being able to create your own Modes. Totally unhappy customer, who has had Arlo for almost 10-yrs now. There have been many others with the same issue I'm experiencing and I've yet to see a solution. If nothing is done by 2026, then considering this issue and the constant increase in pricing for what used to be free; I'll be ditching Arlo!!!

What are you looking for? The Routines page with Modes listed or inside of the Modes themselves??
Arlo removed the ability for users to create their own modes, so the Modes I have are the ones Arlo provided. Arm Away, Arm Home, and Standby. The issue happens on Arm Away, which is enabled at night so everything is armed.

It appears the issue is Activity Zones on the cameras. I have Activity Zones set on the cameras and it appears that is stopping the recording from happening or being available.
so the Security Lights pick up motion, turns on, then is supposed to trigger the camera to record and then that recording be available in the app. If the camera has an Activity Zones set set on it this does not work.
I just removed the Activity Zones and the Light triggering the camera and recording being available in the Cloud works.
Arlo should code for an exception of Activity Zones if the camera is triggered to record from Lights, Doorbell, or other Cameras.

Was the motion that the lights detected inside the activity zones?

Yes it was but still no recording. However the camera is far away from the lights which is why I’m using the light to pick up the motion and then trigger the camera.
it worked for 8yrs but with this new app it doesn’t work anymore unless I completely remove the activity zones from camera then the triggering from light works.
the Activity Zone is causing it.

No doubt. Sometimes deleting and re-creating the activity zone will resolve it.
FWIW, I agree that the activity zones shouldn't be applied when the camera is cross-triggered from another device.
