Arlo Secure App can't schedule custom modes

Just updated to the new UI / Arlo Secure App.

I won't complain about having to learn an entirely different UI workflow, but I will complain that it seems I am no longer able to schedule (routines/automations) my Custom Modes.

First, my schedules didn't transfer, so all of a sudden my indoor cameras started sending alerts during the daytime as I was walking around my house.  Very annoying.  This forced me to drop what I was doing and had to deal with it right away.

Then, in the new UI, I am not able to create an automation using my custom modes, I can only select from the default "Arm Away" or "Arm Home".  This is ridiculous.

I don't base my schedule on away or home, I base it on day or evening.

I really hope Arlo addresses this soon.

Can you give more details on the schedule?  Are you just arming and disarming all cameras?  Or are you doing something more complex?

During the day, I have the doorbell detect motion and record, but no notification.

During the evening, I have all external cameras plus doorbeel detect motion, record, and notify.

At certain times (e.g. vacation), I might have the indoor cameras record and notify as well.  There are other corner cases (e.g. some indoor cameras)

I have custom modes for all of these things, and I used to be able to schedule custom modes.

Now, I am only able to schedule the built in modes, so I've had to make "away" be "night" and "home" be "day".

But even then that doesn't work for the corner cases.

Additionally, it seems I now will get notifications every time there is a mode switch!  I tried to disable this in the feeds filter, but I don't know yet if that will actually prevent the notifications.

Also, I am getting notifications from the doorbell even though I have notifications disabled!

I currently have the mode set to "Arm Home", which I configured as "Doorbell motion, then record video" (but not send notification).

But just now, someone went past the doorbell and I got a notification!

Sorry, this system just seems super limited and buggy.

Additionally, the people I share my account with are not able to see any cameras in their apps anymore, although they still get the notifications!

Seems to be no end to the bugs after this "upgrade".

That is because their accounts also need to be migrated to "Feed".  One hack to do that - go into "add device" and start to add a Pro 5s camera.  That will fail because they don't have the camera.  But the workflow will migrate their account before they get stuck.

I believe they are already migrated to feed.  They did that update before I (primary acct holder) did.

I just checked one of their phones, and it already has the UI that says "Feed" at the bottom.  I tried the hack of adding a device, and going several steps down that path, to the point where it's actively searching for a device, and there was no prompt to upgrade to Feed.

Ok.  The new interface has explicit support for multiple locations.  They have two locations - one (with no cameras) for their own account, and another with your shared cameras.  Unfortunately both have the same name - "Home".

Try touching the "home" title in the top center of the Feed screen, and switch to the second location.  You should then see the shared cameras.  The locations can be renamed to prevent confusion - press the profile icon in the upper left, and you will be able to edit the names from that screen.

Well, we just tried uninstall/re-install the app, and that seemed to work.  Again, none of this should be necessary.

And I haven't solved the other issues.

I'm strongly considering moving to a different home security provider this year.
