Arlo is forcing users, some like me who've committed over $1000 to their devices to buy new cameras when they are still working. Not only is this wasteful, impacts the environment, but is a scam and unconscionable. The policy is not clear and there's no one to contact to discuss or better understand how to navigate the change. They are happy to take my money though, annual service contract just hit my account.

If you've read the emails that were sent out and checked the EOL documents found in the support section here, you'll see that your existing system will continue to work as well as have the free 7 day plan. WHile you're reading, note what changes such as no new updates (but they haven't been updated in a long time anyway).

You're not forced to upgrade cameras or plan. This has been discussed at length both here as well as on the Internet in various tech sites.
