Is there some way to change the record settings on the Arlo Wireless HD cameras? I found the thread for the pro and the Q.

We set up the system, but the cameras don't kick in recording until after a 2-3 second delay, and only recoreds for 10 seconds.

Is there a way to make it so when one camera records motion, the others just start recording?

both have been addressed in threads.  In the mode you're using, under the  cam you want to change recording length, you can set it up to 120 sec.

You can create a rule that has elements:

when cam A detects motion, start recording on Cam B

when cam A detects motion, start recording on Cam C

etc.

The delay is true for all Arlo cameras due to the need to contact the server.  Positioning and sensitivity are key to minimize lag and still get the video you want.  2-3 seconds is the best you'll get so position the camera to ensure the video captures faces/movement desired.  It may take some trial and error to get the best position.  Some folks set it up so the camera catches people leaving rather than first coming to the door - you just need to work through the possibilities.

All settings are in the Mode tab.  Select your base and edit your modes (Armed by default).  Better yet, create your own custom modes for full control.  The FAQs here have full details.
