I'll once again plod along trying to get this base station back online after my main router reboot . . . . fiddling about with variouis 'solutions' I'll usually find one that works inside of a few hours . . . . but tell me, what is the issue in that this base station always has problems with router reboots i.e. it can't get itself back online as 'all' of my other networked hardware has no problem doing sooner or later?

All i can say is most of the time when the router reboots, so does the arlos base ...
The only problem I've seen is if the base stays offline to long a period, the cameras loose sync and must be re-sync'ed physically

jesus . . . . . . . had to reset base and re-establish all the cameras. Did that and all good. Then logged back into device and . . . . . offline again.
What the hell? One year little problems - every now and then for now reason base offline, no change in network hardware, and now this that 'isn't' getting resolved with the usual bit of time needed during those earlier instances.
Add to that a pink-hued camera and I'm having second/third thoughts of this 'security' system . . . . .
So what next? Reset again and do all over? Call me neighbour to do it if I'm not home??

You may have a hardware issue that all the putzing in the world won't fix. If a full reset won't fix it and you're still withoin a year, a warranty claim would be prudent.
Don't wait and struggle with issues - open a case so that you not only get help and suggestions but also have a trace of issues that can lead to replacement hardware. There's been too many folks that have struggled for long periods of time only to finally resolve it with replacements.

As to the pink camera. Contact support
As to your problems, If your normal fixes don't do it, sometimes it may call for a full reset of the base ( to clear out glitches and reset all to default )
