I have had my arlo for about 3 years and want to get a plug in camera that will go with it.  I am not sure if they are all compatible to my base.  Does anyone know if you can use any sort of new hard wired Alro camera and it will sync ok?

Your 3500 base should support the Arlo , Pro, and Pro2 cameras....

( the pro and pro2 can be left plugged in )

tho if upgrading to a couple more cameras, the pro or pro2 with the 4000 base ( if staying on the free level of 5 cams total ) might be a good upgrade. ( with a 2  camera system )

Reason is the 4000 have a usb backup for the speed sticks to retain video clips more than the 7 days... a 64 gb will hold over a month or two. Also you can still use the older base as there is no limit on number of bases on an account ( use for a weak signal to a far camera )
