Arlo CR123 batteries not lasting

I've had my Arlos for well over a year and have been using Streamlight CR123 batteries all that time with acceptable life.  The last dozen only lasted a week or so per set.  Back to Amazon and suddenly Streamlights are "Not recommended for Arlo."  What happened and what are recommended now? 

Arlo is pretty worthless with unreliable batteries.

Always had good luck with energizers and durarcell

BTW they are much cheaper online at places like BatteryJunction

Have no idea why they aren't recommended.
