My base went offline yesterday, I unplugged and after a minute plugged back in. Now the base only shows an amber light at the power indicator, according to the manual this means it is rebooting. it has been like this all night. tried powering off and even tried to reset the base. can't get the base to come back to life any ideas?

If you unplugged and replugged and also reset the base unit, then contact Netgear as it may be a hardware issue
