Arlo Base Station

Hi, my base station is not connecting to the internet, the light stays Amber. I know I don't have static IP internet service. Does that matter?

 

Other devices connected to my router work fine so I am not sure what is going on.

The amber Internet LED could be a bad cable, a bad port on the router, a bad port on the base or just a poor connection between the router and base for whatever reason.  It can also be an issue with security settings on the router if you like to change default settings.  The IP address from the ISP has no bearing here - most home connections are dynamic.

 

You can also try a factory reset on the base by pressing the reset button until the LEDs flash amber.
