we grow tired of replacing batteries on cameras w don't use unless we are away for an extended amount of time. The system is off, and the temperature is in the 90's daily. These batteries are expensive, and I own over 6 cameras. This particular camera has not been engage since we changed the batteries 2 months ago.

Turning the base station off is the problem since the camera keeps trying to connect to the now non-existant base.  Either remove the batteries or leav the base on but in the disarmed state.

I do not turn off the base station. I disarm from the application and Arm from that same application. Do you have any other suggestions

Duiou2,

If you are seeing this behavior on a single camera it could be the location of the camera that is causing the issue. Poor signal strength due to range or interference can cause battery drain.

Consider swapping the location of the affected camera with a camera that is not draining batteries to further isolate the issue.
