Amber Power light on base station

I have an Xfinity modem/router for Wifi; My wireless telephone service is with AT&T. My apple iphone and computer operate on the Xfinity wifi signal.

When I try to set up the arlo base station, the power light stays amber and the camera light will go to green . The middle light is a dim amber color.

 

Sometimes when the "on" button is pushed the colors will all go green for about a second and then go dark. Other times the power light will remain amber. 

Is the arlo pro base station not compatible with an Xfinity modem?

 

Any suggestions?

If the LEDs don't operate proper, all bets are off. Once the base has initialized you should have 2 green LEDs - power and Internet. If you don't have that, you can try the reset button for 10-15 seconds and see if the base responds properly. If not, you have a hardware issue. Open a case with support using the Contact Support link at the bottom here or swap the system at the store.
