I also have an issue with constant motion detection where there is no motion. One of my three cameras is mounted at my front door and it records video every few minutes after "motion detected." However there is no motion.

I have tried taking the batteries out a few times, and resyncing. It has not resolved the issue.

The other two cameras work fine.

Any suggestions?

I had this issue - i took the batteries out the camera for 30 seconds then put them back in and it stopped it.

Also, make sure it is not catching the movment of any trees or anything. Another of mine was catching the steam from the boiler but only a tiny bit - I had to zoom in to notice.

Swap the camera with one of those NOT giving you problems and se if the trouble follows the camera.

If it acts the same in the new location, contact Netgear for a trouble ticket ( Support )

Also, swap cameras to see if it's an issue with the camera or position. Don't forget that fast moving subjects will trigger recording but can be out of the frame before recording actually starts.

In addition to the above, I've had spiders and webs flicking in front of the camera cause this sort of thing.  Cleaning the area helps.
