I initially got the bundle with 4 cameras and purchased an Arlo Q, and had no issues.

I am in need of installing a new Arlo Q, but I can not, since apparently I have the basic plan which only allows 5 cameras.

Notwithstanding, I've reading that the 3050 system (which is basically what I have 4 cameras 2 Qs) allow for the 6th camera to be connected.

Do I have to return my current system and purchase the 3050 (basically the same), or is there a way I can get help to set up the 6th camera?

Please advise

The special package that handles the extra camera was just that.. a special package with a code during sign-up to allow it.

But you could always use a second account for the extra Q and bring it into your reg accounts as a guest access.

You don't lose much as the  Q's work on their own schedule and Modes anyway.

Too much hassle! I want something that simply works without the workarounds!

If the solution is there, is known, and does not affect Arlo's bottom line, why not release the camera lock??

I think I'm inclined to return it

Thanks
