Open and close the battery door to reset the camera, if it happens again, then it's either a return or warranty issue to fix.

Hi,
i have just had exactly the same happen with one of my cameras today I have done a live chat with netgear and been told the camera needs to be replaced...
i have to fill in a RMA and return it to them after they receive it they will send out a replacement but it looks like I have to pay for p&p??
for a unit I have only had for two weeks not very happy about having to pay for a warranty return.

Some places allow return up to 30 days...or its a warranty issue. It's a pain in wallet but still cheaper than buying a new one

I believe I know the reason why this is happening.
When the camera is exposed to a direct sun light, it's burning or damaging the image sensor.
I had the first and the second camera at the same location (which's direct direction of the sunrise and it got this problem. )

The night image has no problem since it's black and white image. The day image is pink color, that tells me that one color is missing RGB, as you mentioned above(during the day all color are used)
If my first camera got damaged (day color image pink) the first day I installed it at this location/ direction of sunrise, and my second camera had for 6-8 months at a different location with no problem to it, but got damaged(pink image) the day I moved it to the same location(direction of sunrise) of the first camera and then got damaged(pink day image)the first day I installed it, that tells me there's something other than IR getting stuck.
Thanks again!
