The app says I need new batteries. I installed fresh batteries and tried to resync the camera to the base station. It will not sync- no blue light and the app still says I neednew batteries.

1) make sure the batteries are the correct type (cr123) and placement inside is right...there are stickers just inside that show +/- placement.

 

2) if #1 is correct and you close the battery door you should see a blue led ( and maybe hear a click )

 

If the above doesn't work, retry the OLD batteries just to see if the led flashes blue... If not contact netgear for a trouble ticket.

 

 

 

If #2 works, remember its a quick push on the base sync button, NOT hold.
