What model is the doorbell?
Is the iphone connected to your home wifi network?
If you use a VPN on the phone, did you disable that?
Is bluetooth enabled on the phone?

I have the same frustrating problem after updating to version 5.3.4. Model AVD2001. My IPhone is connected to WIFi, VPN is turned off, Bluetooth is enabled. I installed the app again (several times😬) on the iphone and when the bell camera reads the QR code for the connection, the doorbell gives a connection signal but in the last step it does not find the doorbell. Please help me

Was the doorbell ever installed? Or is this a new purchase?
Are WPA2 (AES) connections enabled in the wifi security?

Thank you for the response
yess the doorbell was already installed. I just updated the Arlo app and now I can’t add the doorbell to the app. In the app, before the update, I already had connection
And WPA is enabled

If you are using the same account credentials, the doorbell (and any other cameras) should have been visible on the devices page.

Are you certain you weren't using different credentials before the update?

Yess I am certain we are trying something else now. My husband has now deleted my permission ( he is Admin) and granted me access again hopefully that will help. I will come back if that was not the Solution. Thank you

Sorry that did not work also, to add me again (granting me permission again). I also want to inform that I am receiving notification from the Arlo app and that is also strange (that indicates there is a connection). And his account is on a Samsung phone and he doesn’t have the update for Arlo. He has the old Liberary function and I see feed and dashboard on my IPhone ( in the updated) Arlo app. Maybe that is the problem? In the playstore there is no new update for Android available

Yes.
Note that the app version doesn't actually matter. The app includes both interfaces - which one you get depends on how your account is set up in the Arlo cloud.
Ths simplest solution is for you to log in on your phone with your husband's credentials. Then you will see what he sees.

Veirfy that the router is set to WPA2 (AES). Just WPA isn't sufficient.

Thank you very much for your time Stephen that is indeed a solution to log in with his credentials.
Have a good day
