Wired Doorbell

Spent an hour + installing the thing and it didn't work.  Customer support is non existent.  Tried Chat...useless.  No contact phone number anywhere in the support material.  Finally googled a number and got an agent with a very strong and difficult to understand accent and was told I had to enroll in a $150 subscription before they'd help me.  Would love to see a phone number or active E-mail but know that won't happen.  Ranting because it shouldn't be this damn hard to install.  Suspect it's my wiring...my doorbell is wired with telephone wire, 4 very thin wires, probably not compatible...but you don't discover until you go through the entire installation process.  It's on it's way back to Amazon!

FWIW, I agree that could be the cause.  Often a 4-wire setup is for a doorbell with an integrated intercom.  https://doorbellexpert.com/why-doorbells-have-4-wires/
