Since an hour I am receiving multiple notification per minute, really spamming.

I had already disabled as many smart notifications as possible.

To prevent these notifications I also:

  • Disabled sound
  • lowered the sensitivity
  • adjusted the recording area to the sky, where there is nothing to see.
  • Disabled HDR
  • Disabled Night vision (currently happening during day-time)

I can't really disable the thing, as I do not have a doorbell then. I already read that is could be a hardware issue, any updates on that?

Mine just started doing that for the last hour or so. Has worked fine for months - detecting motion - only smart notification I have set is for people and animals. It is going off every time a car goes by but I have that notification disabled. Starting to get annoying - have to keep it on for the porch pirates.

Consider toggling all Smart notification settings to off and then toggle back on the desired notifications. Do you still experience the same behavior?

Yes first thing I tried. The thing is the notification don't state what kind of notifications it is.

Is anyone here still experiencing this behavior?

The notfications stopped indeed. I reduced the smart notifications to only animals, and now I only get 70 notifications (??) a day. But I muted the notifications.

BUT now I have a new problem, It now only registers the animals in my library. Where before last week I only got a notifications when I wanted but my library registered all kinds of things, like for example who rang my doorbell.

quit still useless now.
