Will Arlo Essential Video Doorbell Wired work while Arlo Base Station VMB4000 is turned off?

If Arlo Essential Video Doorbell (Wired) is connected with the Arlo Base Station VMB4000, and the Base Station is turned off, if someone were to press the VIdeo Doorbell, would the regular chime still work?

It should.

Though I don't recommend turning the base station off.

Re: the "regular chime", I meant the current door chime box in my house. Will that ring?

And given that the base station is off, I assume I won't get a popup message or video call on my mobile phone, right?

True.  But I don't recommend turning it off - there are better ways to silence the video call and notifications.
