Video doorbell wont work even though it said it connected to the internet sucessfully

So about a week ago I bought the Arlo Video Doorbell, i followed the instructions to a tea, it connects to the internet during the setup but after it says my doorbell is connected it says its offline. Done everything to fix it, hard reset, reset router, turned on and off both doorbell and router, tried reconnecting. Also during setup, when it says to "test" the chime, it doesnt even give me the option to. It automatically sets it to "None", and i have a mechanical chime and have connected the little device and everthing. Cant change it back in settings because the doorbell isnt connected to anything? This is my first video doorbell, Id hate to have to take it back.

This could be due to the doorbell not receiving enough power. Check your transformer to be sure it meets the minimum voltage requirements: How do I measure the voltage of my doorbell transformer?
