Anyone else have a doorbell that us physically failing? Bought mine about 15 months ago (so of course out of warranty). The ridiculously thin piece or plastic that goes around the camera lens has curled up, and exposed the inside of the unit to weather and doorbell has completely stopped working (looks like poor design, right behind that plastic is an access hole that directly exposes circuits so I assume water is in there).

I'm extremely disappointed how quickly this physically fell apart. I'd hope a doorbell designed for outdoor use would be a bit better designed to withstand the elements...looks like really poor design to the outer casing.

I can't even get ahold of Arlo on the phone as when I dial the 800 number listed on the Arlo website as a contact number, it can't be connected.

Between this and the absurd number of times my hub likes to disconnect everything and I have to reset all my cameras to get them to reconnect, I'm getting more and more disappointed that I've spent the money on Arlo devices.

Just curious who else is seeing equipment failure due to outdoor devices not holding up the outdoors. I know these doorbells are only $100 but no way I'm paying for a new one every other year.

Not sure where you are looking, but I don't know of any place where they are posting a support number on their website anymore.  You need to use the support options in the app.  If you have a subscription, that includes a phone option.  Warranty is 12 months, so they might not help much.

Same recently doorbell was alerting to motion every couple of minutes and video showed no activity. When I examined it the thin plastic around the camera was loose. It seems it’s glued in place. I pushed it down and issue with recording went away. But concern is it will peel back up and expose electronics to the elements and fail completely. Unit is southern facing and sees a great deal of sun. Only been in use about 22 months.
