Video Doorbell stand alone?

Hello arlo community,

I just purchased and installed the Pro 2 system and added the video doorbell, all working good.  My question is, is the video doorbell usable as a stand alone security camera and not needed to be synced with the arlo hub?

It isn't synced to your hub now (it is integrated at the account level).

But it does need an Arlo account to use.

So If I shut down and removed the hub the video doorbell will still work with all of it’s functionality?

Correct, but after the 3 month free trial ends, you will need to purchase a subscription for cloud recordings.
