Hi, i continue to receive motion alerts when I do not have an activity zone set or any smart notifications selected for this device. Any thoughts or tips to assist? Thanks.

If you don't have an activity zone set, then any motion will create an alert.

Another thing you can do is set up a custom mode that saves the recording, but doesn't issue any alert.  https://kb.arlo.com/42/What-are-modes-and-rules-and-how-does-Arlo-use-them

 

If you don't want recordings either, you can either turn the camera off, or you can create a custom mode for that as well.  The benefit of using a custom mode is that you can schedule times when you don't want recording or alerts (and/or use geofencing).
