Video Doorbell Not Recording

Read all related to this topic (about April, May, June and July), and Arlo guy doesn’t have another answer that get a subscription. Within the Arlo documentation, they say that without subscription you should be able to do a lot including recording locally. What a shame on Arlo that the base is capable to connect to a USB memory stick with NO purpose. It is a big scam that there are no more notifications without a subscription, and that it is not possible to see any activity or videos without taking the USB memory stick to a laptop or desktop computer. IT JUST DEFEATS THE PURPOSE. COMPLETE SCAM THAT I WILL MAKE SURE MY FRIENDS, ACQUAINTANCES, AND RETAILERS KNOW INCLUDING AMAZON, AND BEST BUY. IT IS A DISGRACE.

I agree.  Complete sales pitch scam.  I now have a video doorbell that works as a doorbell. And with my version, can’t even record locally.  Support: What are my options to be able to get live access to local storage?  Purchase a VMB5000?  Thanks.
