Utterly frustrated installation

I got my new wired doorbell.  Basic installation and power and everything went fine. Install instructions are simple and easy to follow.  I have great wifi at the doorbell location. I have done multiple hard resets.  Only in one instance did the camera chime when presented with the QR code.  But even then, the subsequent attempt by the app to find the device was unsuccessful.  Yes, I have suitable power.  Tomorrow I expect I will take it all apart and return it for a refund. I worked on it a few more hours the next day and finally gave up.  I have returned it to Amazon.  It wasn’t an electrical problem.  Nor was it a wifi strength problem.  I will go with a different brand, or just put in a traditional olde-tyme doorbell button.  Thanks.
