Ok folks, so I bought a new wired video doorbell couple of weeks ago. All was fine until one day I stopped getting notifications on my iOS. Performed all the regular troubleshooting steps including a hard reset on the doorbell. Nothing worked.
What worked: Removing access to any friends (Spouse in my case) that I had given. Revoked the access, and the notifications started popping again. A severe bug and kind of defeats my own argument of going with Arlo against Nest. My thought process being since Arlo is a dedicated camera / security camera company, they would have a much more refined product.
I was on the verge of returning it to get Nest, which I still might, cause I definitely need notifications for both me and my wife, which Arlo does not seem to support.
Product team - if you guys look at these forums, can you work on a fix?
