I’ve had my doorbell in place for some months now and have been quite pleased with it. That all changed when I updated my in home Wi-Fi yesterday and had to reconnect the doorbell. What a pain in the a$$. Really, you have to remove the doorbell from the bracket and press the reset button on the back of the unit and then scan the QR code - just to change the network settings? Of all the devices in my home I had to reconnect, this was by far the worst one. The doorbell wouldn’t chime when scanning the QR code, then it did finally did chime but it couldn’t connect to the network. New router location was same as old one, all the proper settings, etc. I must have repeated the set up process 10 times. Finally, on the last attempt I deleted the unit from my devices. But this time when removing the doorbell from the plastic bracket I nearly destroyed it because the fit was so tight that when trying to remove it the camera casing started to pull away from the plastic frame. I was about ready to smash it with a hammer at this point and by a Ring Doorbell.

Just a God awful experience. All because I needed to switch networks. I will not be recommending for this reason.

FWIW, I just keep the network name and password the same when I change routers.  That makes switching much easier with all my devices.
