Power Kit Wiring Guide?

I was trying to help someone install one of these Arlo video doorbell and needed to troubleshoot the 'power kit' wiring in the chime box.... sadly though, the power kit wiring instructions are only (?) available in the secure app?  Isn't that handy?!  I don't have an app account because I don't own an Arlo device.  Why wouldn't you make a wiring guide like that available to all ?

The power kit should be installed between the wire coming from the doorbell and the wire going to the transformer.

What chime model do you have?

Thanks- that's what I assumed, I just wanted to see what the guide had to say about it all.  This person's chime is a vintage late 70s / early 80s two pole - very simple box.
