I just got an Arlo Essential Wired doorbell today and set it up.
When pressing the doorbell, my phone rings after a couple seconds but I have to 'accept' the call before it will actually show who's there? And then it will take at least 30 seconds for the live image to appear. Is this normal? It also seems to be taking a long time to get motion notifications. I walked up to my front step and got the mail from the mailbox. The notification took a couple minutes to appear.
Is this normal or do I have a problem somewhere?
I don't like the premise of having to 'answer' a video call before being able to see who's at the door.
