I'm thinking of adding the ARLO video doorbell (AVD1001-100NAS) and was wondering if it is truely wireless? My existing doorbell is on a side wall and I would like to install it next to the door. There is no way that I can move the wires from the existing one.
When I go through the YouTube instructions, you connect the old doorbell wires to the back of the new ARLO doorbell.
Thanks in advance!

The camera streams over wifi. But It is powered from your doorbell wires - so you'd need to find a way to get bell wire to the new location. Then connect that wiring to an 16-24 volt transformer.
The Arlo Audio Doorbell would work there, since it is battery powered. You'd need a base station though, so it would be a bit pricey if you are only wanting a doorbell.
