Having problems with friend getting access to Arlo device.
I followed the instruction to "Grant Access" I allowed access to my doorbell, this is only device I have. I also selected "Allow Access Rights" toggle.
Friend received request and set up account.
Friend downloaded Arlo app and logged in. Arlo app makes a request that he ADD Device. He can't ADD device since he does not live in same area as me. Why is Arlo asking him to ADD Device and not just let him see device that I have granted him to see?

So I found another post that says to use the web site to make it all work. No luck there after logging in it still want friend to add new device. So still stuck with problem.

Did the friend click on the "create account" link in the invite email on the PC?
You might need a fresh invite.

The Friend did click on the invite and created a new account. First tried on mobil device then on PC. Same problem occurs. The device does not show up what shows up is the request to add a new device.

If the invitation still shows "Pending" within Grant Access on the primary account, this means the invitation was not accepted correctly. When accepting the invitation, the link provided in the invitation email must be used to create a new account or login to an existing account or the invitation will not change from pending to accepted.
