Was there a new firmware updated for AVD1001 in November 2021?
I have successfully used the Video doorbell since December 2019, but recently, within November 2021, the Video Doorbell started giving me issues.
Doorbell stops recording any motion and doesn't respond on live feed as well, i still get the calls if someone pressed the doorbell, but it won't connect audio or video, app shows the doorbell is connected to the wifi.
And then after a few days, it resumes full functionality automatically without any intervention.
It has happened thrice this month when door did this malfunction, first on November 5 (and it got reconnected automatically on Nov 6), then from November 9 thru 11 (starting functioning on Nov 12 till 17), and then from November 18 thru 21.
Last night, on November 21, I did a factory reset on the doorbell, restarted my router, added the doorbell again to the app. And it worked for a while, and detected and recorded motion once. I recorded a message on no response, and can hear the audio only. And since then, it is again doing the same, i.e., not connecting live feed, not detecting any motion, not recording either but still i receive a call when someone pressed it.
When i try live feed, it keeps on saying "Please wait..." and then it either says "There was a problem establishing a connection to the media server." or it says "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again."
My doorbell is connected directly to the router, no hub in between and my subscription is also active. I have not changed anything on my wifi network, no firmware updates on the router or any other changes. As per router, Doorbell has 92% signal strength. Any other suggestions?
firmware: 1.14.0.0_1117_c9951d1_b4efa46

Since it may be a hardware problem, use Settings, Support from the app.
