I installed my new wired Arlo device and the chime attachment (set to O, hooked up to the “front” and “trans” wires if my traditional chime box). When I tested the mechanical and digits chimes, the box just hummed/buzzed without actually chiming. That makes me think it’s set up correctly just not getting enough juice? Or perhaps the chime attachment is faulty? Unsure, and welcoming advice.

It sounds like you wired it correctly.
What are the transformer specs (voltage, and either amps or VA)?
