Can this doorbell be added to my base station?

Does anyone know if I can add this Doorbell AVD1001100CNS to my base station VMB3010r2 so that I can have it work like my cameras and have the free 7 day storage?

I wished to do the same;  have the video from the wired doorbell recorded to my basestation for 7 days, same as my older cameras.    Tech support told me that this cannot be done.   You can see the video on your phone and interact with whomever is at the door, but they will not be recorded by the doorbell.   As well, the doorbell motion detect cannot be used to trigger recording of the other cameras.   So to record the person at the door to the basestation will require one of the camera motion triggers and record function be set.     

All currently sold products require subscription.    So best to keep your older equipment to avoid subscription fees

Arlo Video Doorbell does not support 7 day free cloud storage like legacy Arlo cameras.To save recordings to the cloud, you need an active Arlo Smart trial or subscription plan. For more information see here: What are the available Arlo subscription plans and how much cloud recording is available?

To utilize local storage, you need a base station/SmartHub that is compatible with AVD1001 and supports local storage. Take a look here for more information: What is the difference between each Arlo SmartHub and base station?
