Can't Register Doorbell, therefore can't access free phone support

I bought this device from Amazon. I can't get it to work. I am entitled to free phone support, but I can't access it because it is impossible to register the device. I have the serial number from the box. There is no 16-digit code on my receipt or on the box. the serial number is a 13-character code. I am exasperated.

When you say it's impossible to register the device...could you provide more details?

 

Are you experiencing an issue during setup? Are you seeing any error messages?

I'm having installation problems. I can't get the lights to light up when connected. I'm stuck there. I want phone support. I want to talk to a human. I'm entitled to some free phone support, but your system shows no device registered to me.  When I try to register it, I can find no 16-digit code on my receipt to initiate the registration process.  The support bot says I have no support option attached to my plan other than the community.
