Buying a Wired Doorbell. Will I need an Arlo hub ???

I'm thinking of buying the Wired Arlo Doorbell (AVD1001-100EUS)

I am wondering if I need the Arlo Hub to use this or can I just use it through my Wi-Fi and mobile phone, and also view it on my Google Nest Hub (2nd gen)..

I'm aware I will need to change my power supply, as mine is currently only 8 volts, but I need to know if I need anything extra to make this work straight out of the box, or if I will need the Arlo hub etc.. I'm aware I need the subscription for storage etc etc..

Using the doorbell with your WiFi works fine - no base or hub needed. The directions for adding devices to Google Home are found here:
