Arlo wired video doorbell problems with foresight

I have an Arlo Wired Video Doorbell that was working perfectly for months and all of the sudden Foresight does not work. 

 

Sometimes the doorbell starts recording video after people are part way in the sight of view and sometimes as they are leaving the sight of view. 

 

For a long time I was able to see what triggered the motion event before it happened as the video doorbell captured video a few seconds before the trigger and then it started acting funny.

 

I have tried a factory reset of the doorbell, removed the device from my app, reinstalled the app and eventually replaced the video doorbell with a new one and still have the same problem.

Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity by chance? Do you have activity zones set?

 

Is it possible to test this by walking across the camera's FOV at a distance of about 10-15 feet and review the recording results.

Hi ShaneS,

 

Motion sensitivity is 100% and I do not have activity zones set.

 

I have tested the camera using the Motion Detection Test and it detects the motion properly. 

 

Everything was working fine up to last week and now the videos are sporadic on when the start recording.

 

I am wondering if there was a firmware update that is causing this and if anyone else is having similar problems.
