Arlo wired video door

I hope this helps anyone who’s Arlo Wired Video Doorbell goes offline. I had mine for 7 months and it worked flawlessly. Then about a week ago, it goes offline. No power outage, no storms, no power surges. Over the next week I spent probably 5 or 6 hours trying multiple times to reset it. Here is a list of what I tried that did NOT work-

1) Pushing the reset button with a paper clip.

2) Resetting the base station by unplugging it.

3) Resetting my internet and wifi modem by unplugging it.

4) Flipping the circuit breaker that carries power to the doorbell off and back on.

5) Trying to reset the wifi network.

Everything I tried gave me the same result- Can’t find doorbell.

Here is what DID work-

I simply disconnected both wires, waited a few minutes, then reconnected the 2 wires. The circular light flashed white several times. The I pushed the circular button to sync the doorbell.

I believe disconnecting the 2 wires returned the doorbell to its brand new, just got it out of the box state.
