Arlo wired doorbell unable to trigger google home routines on button press

Hi I have just setup the wired doorbell and connected to Google hub. I get notifications when doorbell is pressed but I am unable to trigger any routines on button press even though they are setup. Any advise would be appreciated

May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have performed so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.

Hi thanks for your reply. I have rebooted and readied. I have also turned off the voice notifications but it doesn't trigger the action after the doorbell rings. I just wanted to check if it was possible or it was a limitation.

It looks like google is slowly rolling out their updates for triggers and automations. "Over the next few months, Google Home is getting a full makeover, complete with new tools, functions, and more" All the options appear to not be available at this time.
