Arlo video doorbell- installation with arlo chime

Hi there,
Installation question regarding the new video doorbell. I’ve heard that the device now works with the arlo chime if it’s been linked/connected to a basestation.
I’m just wondering how the installation steps would differ for this setup ?
Do you still need the existing chime? If not, what does the video doorbell power kit connect to?
Are there any disadvantages to setting it up this way ?

No, you don't need to use the existing chime but I would disconnect it so it's not part of the system. No power kit needed then. If you simply use the Arlo chime, there's nothing else you need to do.
