Arlo essential wired video doorbell with VMB3000

Got an Arlo essential wired video doorbell last year and it worked fine with my VMB3000 base station but it stopped working recently and after numerous attempts to get it functional again I was unsuccessful. Therefore I thought the doorbell might have become defective . After acquiring another identical doorbell I was still unable to get it functional. Therefore I reviewed video doorbell compatibility with base stations and found that the VMB3000 is not compatible now with the Arlo essential video doorbell. So I bought a VMB4000 base station and I am finally back in business. I hope this helps.

It must have been connected to your home wifi, as it has never been compatible with the VMB3000.
