Arlo doorbell disconneted randomly

After having used an essential wired camera indoors VMC3040r6 for years to my satisfaction, I installed a wireless doorbell AVD2001Aer1.2 on the 19.July 22.

(firmware: 1.2.0.0-624-718aea3-c998ba4, serial # A5U115WY008FA)

As router I am using a fritzbox7590. However big disappointment as the doorbell disconnects randomly. Battery is charged. After taking out the battery for about 15 secs,  the doorbell will reconnect. But I don't want to do that almost every morning.

Initially I assigned a fixed IP address to the doorbell and it seemed to be working for 2 days. But .... Any suggestions????

How far from your router is the doorbell? What does the signal strength icon show in the Arlo mobile app?

the WLAN shows 3 bars. Directly connected to the router Fritzbox 7590, not to the mesh repeater.

After having installed the doorbell on the 19.7.22 it disconnected  every single day up the the 29.7.22.

From 29.7-8.8.22 it was working alright. Today again disconnected. Battery at 42 %
