Arlo Wireless Doorbell not reading QR code

I wanted to make my wireless doorbell wired, so I connected the wires purchased a chime with a transformer. I read in these forums that you need to remove the doorbell from the app and reinstall and select wired doorbell.

 

But now when I try to re-add the doorbell it doesn’t pick up the QR code and just flashes white. I clicked the reset button and I can hear the chime, but when I click continue to find my doorbell it is unable to find anything.

 

ive tried multiple times, deleted the app and reinstalled but nothing. I know the doorbell was working fine before I removed from app so a little unsure why it doesn’t want to connect.

Can you try selecting the wireless doorbell option when onboarding to your app again.
