I am one of the unlucky few that has not been able to get my AVD to work without through a Tamper alert, "everytime"
Though it would be optimal to be able to "ignore this alert" as a user option, I have also had the doorbell start "ringing" in the middle of the night.
I am thinking the new to be released Video Wireless Doorbell may address both of these issues.
1) Is there a beta test for this product - I volunteer
2) Can you offer a user level diagnostic log of "why" a tamper alarm was triggered - "loss of power" etc etc.
Will a Video Wireless Doorbell fit as a direct replacement for AVD? Simple swap?

This sounds like your transformer is marginal at best. Have you tested the voltage at the doorbell with a voltmeter and/or confirmed the transformer ratings?
