Arlo Wired door bell - doesn't record after factory reset

I have an Arlo wired doorbell connected to base station VMB4540. Recently my doorbell went offline and I did a factory reset on the doorbell. It reconnected fine. However, now my doorbell doesn’t have activity zones in the User Interface of the app and not recording anymore.
Any way to record on the base station like earlier without a subscription ?

Did you connect it to your wifi (maybe accidently)?
