Arlo Video Doorbell partial gray video when button is pushed

Installed the Video Doorbell. Video works well when you watch it live. When you push the doorbell button and answer the call, the video pops up partially grayed out. Sounds seems to work ok during this time. I've removed and reinstalled with the same problem.

Any ideas? I have the full Arlo Video system with first gen base station. I do not see an option when I add the doorbell to link to the base station; it only allows to connect through wifi.

With the the Arlo mobile app, try reducing your Arlo Video Doorbell resolution settings and test again to see if you experience the same behavior. This can be found within the app under Settings > My Devices > select your doorbell > Video Settings > Video Resolution.
