I have the Arlo Pro 2 with two cameras. I bought the video doorbell on release but returned it after realizing it required a separate paid subscription. I now see that the video doorbell can connect to the base station. Does that mean it will now count toward the free five-camera cloud storage?

mhtom,
No. For recordings to be saved in the cloud, the Arlo Video Doorbell must have a subscription to Arlo Smart.
