I recently had a network update that should allow my Arlo video doorbell (AVD1001) to be added to my existing Arlo SmartHub (VMB3500r4). I have checked the firmware and everything appears to be updated.
I have removed and re-added the doorbell a couple of times however I keep getting an error that my SmartHub is not able to support wired doorbells. When I poked thru some posts, it looks like my SmartHub should be able to support the wired doorbell. Any advice on how to add the AVD1001 to my VMB3500r4 SmartHub? Thanks

The VMB3500 is an old base, and isn't compatible with the AVD1001.
It would work with the older audio-only doorbell, but not the video doorbells.
FWIW, there are only two smarthub models - the VMB4540 and the VMB5000. All other bases are just called bases (or sometimes hubs). The two smarthubs support the direct access to local storage feature, the bases do not.
