standby mode recording wireless doorbell

I thought the point of Standby mode was to stop the wireless doorbell from  recording but mine still does. How do I turn off the recording feature  when I need to? I really don's like this new app.

Go into the standby mode, and see if there are any rules for the doorbell in it.
