I purchased a Wire-Free video doorbell, it took 2 weeks to arrive which left me 2 weeks to get back from a work trip, unpackage it, set it up and install, fail to get it to connect with any video or sound, call into support and start up a case number before my 30 day return window closed....which didn't happen. After troubleshooting with support and making sure it was on the correct wi-fi we were able to get it to work fine in the house but the moment it went outside with the device and pressed the doorbell it would not connect to our phone or show video or sound on any device.  I'm now stuck with an expensive doorbell that is of no use to me since a case number with support is not enough to return after 30 days of ordering it direct from Arlo (my first mistake)....Is there anything I'm possibly not trying to make it work? Has anyone else managed to troubleshoot this problem? Should I sell it or use it as a dorky spy camera in the house?

This sounds very much like a signal strength issue. What is the construction of your house? Stucco may be the worst with brick and stone also being possible culprits. Possibly placing a WiFi extender close to the doorbell could help.
